What is off-beat rap?
Words and syllables do not match the rap beat, use off-beat rap says. Meaning you are speaking above or below the beat This makes the rap song sound out of place.
It is important to understand beat and rhythm
Count the first beat

You count your syllables
Counting the number of syllables in a rap word and matching it to the beat
If there are 4 hits on the beat and your word has syllables, either stretch the beat or shorten the word
Emphasis and stress are part of each beat, worth 2 points. Place main words on strong beats and fillers or softer words on weak beats.
Daily 10 to 15 minutes rhythm practice and 15 minutes rap on beat = off beat problem will slowly go away and consistency is the biggest key.
